I bought this safe off Amazon and installed to get out of an “unsecured firearm charge” in St. Louis MO after a car break in and theft of a firearm. Since then, my apartment garage door has been broken for an extended period of time. In that time my car was broken into not once, not twice, but three separate times. I use the safe when I am either at work or entering a building where I can’t bring a gun. However, during these incidents, I was parked in my apartment complex garage, and I always bring my ccw with me into my apartment. The first two attempts of stealing the empty safe were stopped by the cable attached to the driver’s seat. The third attempt shows the build quality of this safe. The wanna be thief’s tried to crack the safe open unsuccessfully with the crowbar they used to break in to the car. I can only commend Wincent on the quality of their product on surviving 3 separate attempts of theft. I’m sure most people know about St. Louis’s reputation. From first hand experience, if this safe can survive all of this, it will fit your needs.

I definitely love this gun safe, the size, and utility allows you to mount it in a variety of places in your car. The only thing I needed to do after almost a year of use was to lube the latch release mechanism so it would stay shut. I’ve mounted mine in the truck with (2) 55lbs magnets , it’s out of site and leaves unfettered access to the truck.

Nice little safe, set-up was easy, perfect size for my everyday carry and extra magazine. After using for about a week, the safe became jammed and was unable to open. Using a screwdriver I was able to pry it open in about 5 minutes (yes, you read that correctly) now the safe won't close properly.
Customer service, based in China, originally was very helpful saying they would replace my safe. After a week and 3 unanswered emails, they finally came back and said they won't ship to a US territory (eventhough website says they do.) I provided an alternate address, which they also can't ship to.
Bottom line... decent small safe, but can be pried open easily and the absolute worst Customer service.

This one was a little bit tricky. When I opened the box there were no instructions. So I took to YouTube and found the instructions on there. It’s not as fast as the fingerprint safe but none the it does it’s job.

I added some brackets on the rear to mount in between my seats and secured to bottom of seat in truck. Have easy access and I know it is locked if I leave vehicle. Safe from kids. RFID works great.

it is great for the purpose in mind when we purchased the unit - make the pistol safe and tamper-proof yet quickly accessible in the event the pistol is needed. We enjoy the assurance that no one will be able to access the pistol without the access code. The unit is very solid and would require substantial time and effort to break into it with normal tools. It is optimally sized - holds a Walther PPQ-9mm + clip with just enough extra safe to avoid metal-on-metal contact. If I were in the market for another pistol access restriction case, I would get the Wincent again.

Very pleased with the quality and functionality. I can store my Kimber 1911 in .45 acp. The cable will secure around the seat rail in my car when I have to go into a place that doesn’t support our 2A Rights. So far, very happy with this safe.

I received the box with the safe in it. the major problem was that all the instructions were in the safe and no instructions how to open it. I called your company and talked to a very helpful agent who informed me the safe came directly from the manufacturer locked and without the key to enter the safe. She guided me thru the process of setting the appropriate keys to setup the safe. Thank God for her patience getting me setup.
